How to Take Panorama Photos with an iPhone: 7 Steps

Sometimes a view is just too big to fit into one photo. Add some width to your images with the iPhone’s Panorama feature.
STEPS

1
TAP THE CAMERA ICON ON YOUR IPHONE’S HOME SCREEN TO LAUNCH THE CAMERA APP.

2
TAP THE OPTIONS BUTTON.

3
TAP PANORAMA.

4
TAP THE CAMERA BUTTON TO BEGIN TAKING YOUR PANORAMA PHOTO.

5
SLOWLY MOVE YOUR CAMERA ACROSS THE SUBJECT MAKING SURE THAT THE ARROW THAT APPEARS ON THE SCREEN STAYS AS CLOSE TO THE CENTER LINE AS POSSIBLE. When you are finished, tap the Done button.

6
YOUR IMAGE WILL NOW BE STORED IN YOUR IPHONE’S CAMERA ROLL. Tap the preview at the bottom left of the screen to view it.

7
TURN YOUR PHONE HORIZONTALLY TO VIEW THE FULL PANORAMA IMAGE.
TIPS
Keeping your iPhone level and keeping the arrow on the panorama line are both essential for a quality result.
You can still use the focus and exposure controls when using Panorama. Simply tap on the screen to select the area you want to focus on.
WARNINGS
If you move the camera too quickly when using Panorama you will see a Slow Down message. Moving too quickly can lead to blurred and out of focus images.
