How to Connect Idea Net Setter with Android Devices: 8 Steps

Idea Netsetter is a Network Dongle that is widely used as a Networking Modem. The dongle has a custom software that can be installed in any Windows/Mac or Linux systems. But when we come to Android OS we are really in a big trouble. Because the dongle doesn’t has a a custom software for working in Android Operating Systems. And thus many Android Tablet or Smartphone users think that they can’t use Idea Net Setter for Connecting their Android Devices with Internet. So in this post I am going to tell you how to connect Idea Net Setter with your Android Device. So carry on ;).
STEPS

GO TO SETTINGS »WIRELESS & NETWORKS

DISABLE WIFI OR 3G IF THEY ARE ENABLED

SWITCH TO “AIRPLANE MODE”

CONNECT THE NET SETTER

DISABLE THE “AIRPLANE MODE”. Now you can see a Network Icon showing No Network in the Status Bar.

WAIT FOR FEW SECONDS UNTIL THE “NO NETWORK” DISAPPEARS AND “NETWORK BARS” COMES.

AFTER THAT, ENABLE 3G AND WHEN 3G IS ENABLED YOU WILL SEE A 3G ICON AT STATUS BAR.

TIPS
Sometimes you might want to enable the Idea Netsetter’s APN for this, go to Settings »Wireless & Networks » Access Point Names and touch on the small button there.
This trick was successfully tested with HCL ME Tablet Series and Samsung Galaxy Tab Series. And could work well with all other android devices.
